Job offer Truck driver / Laborer
Permanent; full time
Salary range: $23.50 per hour; plus benefits
Responsibilities - Operate a snowplow truck with sander - Look after the maintenance of equipment including minor repairs - Carry out various related jobs when required - Take part in the maintenance of the garage and other municipal buildings - Operate a tandem truck on the construction projects and the maintenance of the Township network - Replace on recycling truck occasionally. Experience and Competencies - High school diploma - Must be bilingual, French and English - Hold a valid driving permit with class D-Z or better - Must be able to reach garage within 20 minutes from receiving the call from the Road Superintendent or assigned patrolman
- Experience as a snowplow operator would be an asset - Good knowledge of the municipal road system is an asset - Heavy truck mechanic experience would be an asset
