Des gens ont eu besoin d’appui dans leurs démarches, par exemple des problèmes de pension, de passeports et des problèmes avec Revenu Canada. Nous étions nombreux dans le comté à travailler sur cela », poursuit M. Drouin. La jeunesse, M. Drouin en a fait l’une de ses priorités. Il a d’ailleurs plusieurs messages à faire passer aux jeunes. « Nous sommes dans le processus de lancer un comité de jeunes de 15 à 21 ans qui discuteront directement avecmoi, pour que je puisse amener aussitôt au premier ministre, Justin Trudeau, leurs enjeux. On dit souvent que les jeunes sont les leaders de demain, ce n’est pas vrai, ce sont les leaders d’aujourd’hui », se réjouit-il M. Drouin est entouré d’une jeune équipe. À part Paul Wernick qui est originaire d’Ottawa, les employés de l’équipe de M. Drouin sont tous des résidents de Prescott et Russell : LynneMartineau et Louise Lecuyer- Guertin de Hawkesbury, Jérémy Gauthier de Casselman, Gabriel Farmer de Rockland et enfin Andrew Phillips de Vankleek Hill. Quant à son avenir politique, Francis Drouin répond simplement : « J’ai le désir de servir les gens, c’est comme ça que je vois mon avenir. Je sers mes concitoyens », conclut Francis Drouin.
