CAMBRA: A Simple Road Map for Clinical Success

CAMBRA, or caries management by risk assessment, is considered best practice in the prevention and treatment of dental caries disease, although early attempts in clinical practice have been overly complicated. Implementing CAMBRA into daily practice affects all management systems in the office. This workshop provides a simple road map to integrate CAMBRA successfully into clinical practice. In addition, there will be participation in patient examples and coaching language. Learning Objectives: • Upon completion, participants will be able to discuss caries risk factors and treatment strategies • Upon completion, participants will be able to identify strategic decisions to successfully implement CAMBRA • Upon completion, participants will have a simple personal road map to successfully implement CAMBRA

Dr. V. Kim Kutsch completed his DMD at the University of Oregon School of Dentistry in 1979. With an expertise in dental caries, he teaches dental teams how to successfully manage the disease using the or caries management by risk assessment (CAMBRA) philosophy. He acts as Scientific Adviser for Dental Caries at the Kois Center and reviews for multiple journals, including The Journal of the American Dental Association . Dr. Kutsch maintains a private practice in Albany, Ore., and acts as CEO of Dental Alliance Holdings.
