EMBRUN’S STUDIO SHANTHALY WINS TWO AWARDS

Studio Shanthaly of Embrun was awarded quite the distinction on award night, winning both the Woman Entrepreneur Award and the &OUSFQSFOFVSPGUIF:FBS"XBSE4JTUFSTBOE DPPXOFST/BUIBMJFBOE$IBOUBMF%FTMBVSJFST said that winning both has really boosted morale in the studio. “We weren’t seen as one of the real big businesses, so winning those awards really showed us, wow we’re doing a great job,” said Chantale. “It gives us the confidence to go forward and work harder on our business. In two years, we’ll be able to start our other business, which isa hairdressing academy.” When asked if they would do anything differently if given the chance, Chantale said there was only the hindsight of experience. “The only thing that I regret is, when we opened up and I was like 21 years old, there’s lots of stuff that we’ve learned throughout the years that I wish I knew when I was young.” Studio Shanthaly is looking forward to the next Gala in 2024, where they hope to have grown even more and win another award.
During the annual Gala of Excellence, Studio Shanthaly in Embrun won both the Entrepreneur of the Year and the Woman Entrepreneur awards. The 15th annual Gala of Excellence came to a close on October 15, organised by the Prescott Russell Community Development $PSQPSBUJPOXJUIUIFUIFNFPG0TDBS/JHIU*U was held at the Caledonia Community Hall in St-Bernardin, where 280 guests gathered to celebrate the success of small businesses in the region. “It is important to stipulate that every two years, the Gala of Excellence adapts to the economic reality and the evolution of businesses and entrepreneurs in Prescott- Russell,” said Luc Filion, Chairperson of the Gala of Excellence Committee, “, to pay tribute and reward those who have managed to stand out through their passion, their development, their community involvement, their loyalty and undoubtedly their resilience.”

Studio/Academy Shantaly d’Embrun a reçu le prix de la femme entrepreneur et le prix de l’entrepreneur de l’année. D’autres lauréats ont été annoncés au DPVSTEFMBTPJSÊF.JOJ+FVY(POáBCMFT Chartrand de Fournier avec le prix du jury, et Danika Bourgeois Desnoyers et Brigitte Lavergne d’Aventures Ahoy Adventures de Casselman, qui ont reçu le prix de la nouvelle entreprise et le prix des jeunes entrepre- neurs. La brasserie Brauwerk Hoffman de Rockland a reçu le prix Daniel Gigault, qui récompense un jeune entrepreneur « dont les succès commerciaux et personnels contribuent au bien-être des citoyens de Prescott et Russell « ainsi qu’au dévelop- pement économique de leur communauté. :WFT#FSUIJBVNF EF)BXLFTCVSZ BÊUÊ nommé lauréat du prix Émérite pour son implication communautaire au cours des dernières années. Parmi les autres lauréats honorés lors du gala de cette année, mentionnons : Garden Path Homemade Soap de Vankleeek Hill, qui a reçu le prix de l’entreprise touristique ; Arboris Inc. de Casselman, qui a reçu le prix de l’entreprise de services et le prix de la participation communautaire ; Impression Design de Limoges, qui a reçu le prix du travailleur indépendant ; Brasserie Tuque de Broue Brewery Inc. d’Embrun, qui a reçu le prix de l’entreprise manufacturière ; et Lamarche Electric Ltd. de Rockland, qui a reçu le prix de l’entreprise inclusive.

Liste des prix L’Orignal Packing Ltd, une entreprise familiale de 50 ans située à L’Orignal, a remporté trois prix, dont le prix d’excellence en affaires et les prix pour les entreprises agroalimentaires et les commerces de détail.
