Sommaire du poste : Assister à la préparation des factures de taxes foncières et collaborer avec l’analyste et percepteur des taxes sur une base journalière afin d’assurer une bonne gestion des dossiers en matière de taxes foncières. Répondre aux questions du public ainsi que des agences et avocats relativement aux taxes municipales.
Position summary: Assist in the preparation of property tax bills and work with the Tax Analyst/Collector on a daily basis in order to ensure a good management of property tax files. Respond to enquiries from the public as well as agencies and lawyers in regards to municipal taxes.

Un diplôme d’études collégiales option comptabilité et formation qui est spécifiquement reliée aux taxes soit le Programme d’Administration des Taxes Municipales (2 ans) qui peut être suivi à travers de AMTCO (OMTRA); • Un minimum de 3 ans d’expérience de travail avec le public, dans le domaine municipal ou financier; • Bonnes connaissances des logiciels Microsoft Word, Excel et Outlook. Connaissance du logiciel VADIM serait un atout ; • Doit avoir le souci du détail; • Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps ainsi que la capacité à travailler efficacement de façon autonome ou en équipe ; • Bonnes aptitudes en communication verbale et écrite dans les deux langues officielles du Canada (français et anglais); • Doit avoir les aptitudes requises pour répondre avec courtoisie aux demandes des contribuables.
A college diploma in accounting and training that is specifically related to taxes, such as the Municipal Tax Administration Program (2 years) that can be completed through OMTRA; • At least 3 years of experience working with the public in the municipal or financial field; • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software. Knowledge of the VADIM software would be considered an asset ; • Must be detailed oriented; • Excellent time management skills along with the ability to work effectively independently or in a team ; • Good verbal and written communication skills in both of Canada’s official languages (French and English); • Must have the required skills to respond to taxpayers requests with courtesy.
