The Char-Lan Bantam Rebels recently advanced from the Upper Canada Minor Hockey League’s Eastern Conference with a playoff title, and hope to win the Western Conference title. The team will meet Smiths Falls or Kemptville, depending on who wins what, after March Break. Dominating the Eastern Conference, the Rebels had to face countless injuries. But with the help of coach Roddie McKenzie and assistant coach Wally MacDonald, the club finished the regular season with an impressive 13-4-7 record.
