ARRIVE Phoenix was a challenging project consisting of two separately owned historic mid-century modern office buildings. The design team was tasked to create an adaptive reuse of the buildings into a boutique lifestyle hotel property while maintaining the architectural character of the existing structures. The final plan included recreating the circulation of the two buildings on the back allowing the former circulation space to become private outdoor patios. Five new construction buildings were constructed around the campus with nods to mid-century heritage yet modern of today. The campus now houses 79 hotel rooms surrounding a pool courtyard, two restaurants, a rooftop bar, popsicle stand and coffee shop.
