BELFAST-BASED SPECIALISED FIRE & SECURITY ENJOYED A YEAR OF REMARKABLE WORK ACROSS THE PROVINCE PROVIDING QUALITY MULTIDISCIPLINARY INSTALLS FOR NEW CLIENTS… SFS delivers prestigious projects in 2022

S pecialised Fire & Security (SFS), one of Northern Ireland’s leading NSI-approved security companies, has been part of prestigious projects across the province. Since 2013, SFS has provided market-leading technology in the design and integration of bespoke systems covering the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV Systems and Access Control Systems. In 2022, the exciting lineup of projects included schools, housing projects, apartment complexes and even restaurants. worked on behalf of Tyrone Electrical Ltd to conduct a multidisciplinary install, including access control, CCTV, fire and intruder alarms. “This project cemented our partnership with Tyrone Electrical to provide quality installations and maintenance contracts for our customers,” Tom celebrated. Lesley Parklands Apartments, Belfast SFS provided a multidisciplinary install, including Access Control, CCTV and fire alarm. “We had been involved in this project from very early on with Philip Sweetlove from F.M Stewart & Associates LTD. The tender was eventually awarded to Haughey Electrical, who we have worked with on numerous projects,” Tom explained. “Haughey Electrical entrusted us to deliver the project to tight completion

dates to the three apartment blocks, and works were completed to our usual high standard.” Revolución de Cuba, Belfast The installation of a new fire alarm system by SFS at the quirky tapas and cocktail bar wasn’t exactly planned. As Tom commented, their fire panel stopped working on a Friday afternoon, “A site visit was undertaken within one hour by our Director, John Moore and Operations Manager David Rea to survey the extent of issues, which identified complete failure of the fire panel.” SFS replaced a complete 2-Loop Advanced MXPro5 fire panel, an Advanced repeater panel and 200 plus Hochiki devices. All the necessary equipment was delivered to the site the same evening. SFS worked with contractors CDM Electrical on this urgent project. “A team
