Les Castors s’inclinent face aux Rideaus

La frustration des joueurs s’est d’ailleurs fait sentir, lorsque deux joueurs des Castors ont reçu une pénalité demauvaise conduite. Jordan Baptiste et Calvin Heffler se sont vu retirer du jeu pendant 10 minutes. Baptiste s’est aussi vu imposer une pénalité dematch,
ce qui a entraîné son expulsion pour le reste de la partie. L’équipe sera de retour à l’aréna de Cla- rence Creek le 7 février, alors que les joueurs affronteront les Glens d’Alexandria, dès 14 h 15.
Les Castors de Clarence se sont inclinés par lamarque de 5 à 2 face aux Rideaus de Westport, le 31 janvier dernier, à l’aréna de Clarence Creek. L’équipe locale a compté le premier but de la partie en fin de première période. Gabriel Rousselle, aidé de Pier-Olivier Fournier et de Zachary Fournier, a permis à son équipe de prendre l’avance dans le match. Une avance qui n’a pas duré longtemps, alors que deuxminutes plus tard, les Rideaus ont égalisé le pointage. La seconde période a été caractérisée par une domination de l’équipe deWestport, qui amarqué deux fois. Les Castors ont semblé prendre un regain d’énergie lorsque Tristan Francis a mis la rondelle dans le filet en début de troisième période. Il a été aidé d’Olivier Brunet et de Justin Aubry. Ce gain s’est cependant vite effacé devant les deux autres buts comptés par les Rideaus.
Nats ground les Volants
The RocklandNationals brought les Volants of Gatineau-Hull down to the ground in their last home game of the regular sea- son in the National Capital Junior Hockey League. The Nats dropped les Volants 5-3 on home ice Sunday afternoon at the Clarence- Rockland Arena.The last weekend of January proved a good one for Garrett Reed who fired in a pair of goals for the Nats. Solo points came from Brandon Cameron, Matthew Clifford, and Vincent Martel. Clifford also assisted on goal-scoring along with Paul
Armstrong, Jeff Brett, and Anthony Tulipano. Jonathan Cameron occupied the Rockland net. Eric Sam scored two points for Gatineau- Hull with Joshua Trapper accounting for the other point. They both assisted on each other’s goals along with getting some help from Benoît Lavigne and Dave-AlexandreMartin-Hélie. Guarding the Volant net was JustinMalette- Trottier. The Nats are on the road this Sunday to play the Vikings in Papineauville.
