broken. This is a mystery which the human, finite mind can never under stand. We should keep in mind that the Trinity is more of a problem to us than it is to a little child. We can tell the little child to pray to our heav enly Father as well as to Jesus. He will not have any particular problems here. It may be a weak illustration, how ever, mention the fact that the little one will talk to a friend or loved one over the telephone and that one will talk back. Yet he is not able to see the one on the other end of the line. He knows he is there, however, be cause of the response. God speaks through His Word and we can see the evidence of His blessing through an swered prayer. Do not let this little one distinguish between Jesus and God. Confusion will be caused thereby. Emphasize the fact that Jesus is God. Q . Anaheim, California — “What Bibli cal verses would the panel use in ex plaining the fact that we’re all bom spiritually dead?" A. This is an excellent point for us to consider. We suggest several verses for you, not only to look up, but also to memorize. Start with God’s perfect creation in Genesis 2:17, with His specific command to man. Then see the fall of the human race in Genesis 3:6. The effect is shown in Romans 5 :12. As far as sin’s repercussions, see verses like Romans 6:23. Then study very carefully Ephesians 2:1 and verses following. Here we see our des perate state and God’s great love in sending His son to “quicken” or to make us eternally “alive.” If you want to know of what this spiritual death consists, look at Ephesians 4:18. Everyone in the world who has not trusted Christ as Saviour, is spiritual ly dead! The only way this can be overcome is by being made alive in the Lord Jesus by simple faith in Him. Q . Fontana, California — “Did any of the disciples, besides Peter, have a wife?” A. While there may be no mention of this in the Scripture, yet why not? They were just normal men. We could 26

literal, tangible, touchable body as was that of our Lord. Q . Napa, California — “Is the Russian nation a descendant from Esau?” A. No, it is not. It has no connection with Esau. Look at the 36th chapter of Genesis giving the account of his des cendants. Deuteronomy 2:4, 12 also gives us a statement on that. Esau’s descendants are generally of the Arab race found in the near East. Q . Portland, Oregon — “WiU you please explain Acts 2:31. I thought David was in the presence of the Lord Jesus now.” A. The verse reads, “For David is not ascended into the heavens : but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou on my right hand.” This portion gives us the fulfillment of Psalm 68 showing that the truth was not applicable to David at all. The Psalmist was speaking about somebody else. It is One who des cended, One who sat on the right hand of David’s Lord, One who was told to sit there until his enemies would be the footstool of His feet. Study the entire context carefully. In the Spirit, just as is true with all believers, David is in the presence of the Lord Jesus now. His body awaits, however, as do the bodies of our loved ones who have died in Christ, until the resurrection of the righteous. This passage speaks of our Saviour who was with God in His human body, soul and spirit, as well as in His deity. Q . Eugene, Oregon — “Our young son knows all about Jesus but how do we introduce him to God?” A. Of course, in a real sense, no one knows all about Jesus. No doubt you mean your son knows the Bible stories about Jesus. The thing that .needs to be emphasized in l i t t l e children’s minds is the fact that Jesus is God; Jesus is God made manifest in the flesh. When He performed the mira cles, it was through the power of God the Father. The Trinity can never be
