7.3.1 The b lowe r moto r is t ypically co nfigured t o opera te wi th 208 -230/460 volt, 60 cycles, a nd 3 phase electrical power, unless speci fied o therwise with t he equipmen t orde r. A ma gne tic moto r sta rter is necessary t o p roperly en ergize (el ectrically ) t he u n it. with o ve r load p rotection is a ttached t o t he u n it. The voltage (and full loa d a mps), fo r wh ich the mot or is co nfigured, should b e la beled o n t he electri cal connection bo x. Ele ctrical connections t o t he b o x (and wiri ng) mus t be s ized and se le cted in a ccordance with lo cal, stat e, a nd n ation al codes .

7.3.3 The b lowe r is d esigned t o r ota te clock wis e wh en v iewed from t he moto r side (top o f blower) . If t he b lowe r is r unnin g in r everse, t he a ir volume will b e a pproximately 50% of the d esigned air volume a nd excessive n oise will b e generat ed . Therefore, o nce the mot o r is wired, che ck moto r rotation by energizing the b lowe r moto r fo r a brief in stan t (“JOG” ). If d irection is reversed , then correct. Powe r consumption is les s t han 50 Watts.
NOTE: Instructions that detail the operation of Turbo Digital Pulse Control is available under separate cover. A copy of the instructions should have been supplied with the unit.
NOTE: The digital reverse jet pulse controller with “Pulse on Shut down” feature must be wired with a continuous 115 volt supply. The control must not be wired in parallel with the fan motor starter. (Exception is when using an Amtech combination motor starter with disconnect as this has a dedicated 115V transformer.)
7.4 Compressed Air
NOTE: The compressed air installation should be performed by a qualified installer and in accordance with local, state, and national codes/regulations/laws (if any).
