PEACE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH EXPERIENCING VIOLENCE A specialized program whose purpose is to assist children and youth between the ages of 3 and 18 who have been exposed to abuse and/or violence, providing group or individualized in- office and school-based counselling utilizing psycho-educational methods. Program Objectives a) stopping the inter-generational cycle of abuse by teaching children non-violent ways of resolving conflict and by promoting the process of healing b) support children whose emotional health and self-esteem have been affected by witnessing abuse

THRESHOLD MULTICULTURAL OUTREACH PROGRAM Threshold Multicultural Outreach Program provides services to the diverse needs of women who have experienced, or are at risk of experiencing abuse, threats, or violence in an intimate relationship. Outreach staff work with women who have left the transition house, with women who have left their abusive partners, but also with those who decide to remain with their abusive partners. This includes the services areas of historical sexual abuse and sexual assault.
