2020 CUSTOMER & EMPLOYEE FOCUS

When my dad founded Jensen Precast in 1968, one of the ways he set himself apart from the competition was mixing high quality concrete products with exceptional customer service. Everyone knew the name Don Jensen meant good business. As the company grew, my dad added another ingredient to the mix. He hired smart employees with vision and expertise. The Jensen name came to be trusted for going the extra mile. Engineers and contractors knew they could trust us. Our customers and our employees remain the focus of Jensen Precast. In this special presentation of recent projects undertaken by our engineering, manufacturing, and support staff, we showcase some of the top customer success stories as told through the eyes of our workers.

Thank you for your business. We hope you enjoy our 2020 Vision.

Eric Jensen President Jensen Precast

MSG SPHERE LAS VEGAS LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

We needed to engineer, manufacture, and deliver 100 products in four weeks to meet our customer’s demands for MSG Sphere. This was a complicated project with tough pieces to produce. We used multiple facilities in multiple states. At completion, the customer said, ‘You guys did an awesome job, and every promise you made you hit.

WALMART GALLUP, NEW MEXICO

The store needed a plug and play solution to drop in with its existing setup. Our team preassembled a package grinder vault system inside a precast concrete unit. The grinder has ‘teeth’ powered by a 5 horsepower motor that grind up solids to enable pass through within the sewage system. The unit is designed for easy delivery, offloading, and installation at the jobsite. You basically drop it in, attach the inlet and outlet pipes, and you’re ready to go.

Christopher Purdie, Jensen Water Resources Project Manager

SACRAMENTO MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA We installed precast concrete walls to upgrade security for SMUD at critical infrastructure locations like substations. Jensen Precast is a licensed manufacturer of StoneTree Concrete Fence Systems, which we employed for SMUD’s 17-acre Franklin Substation Construction Project.

Steven Jensen, Jensen Precast Above Ground Projects Manager

SYLMAR GROUND RETURN SYSTEM REPLACEMENT LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA High quality precast concrete offers a lasting solution for subaqueous installations like the Sylmar Ground Return System. BUTTE COUNTY FIRE STATION 63 OROVILLE, CALIFORNIA Our job for Fire Station 63 included one base, two risers, and one cover slab. Set at 16’ deep, the 23’ x 8.5’ x 16’ custom vault weighs in at 57.5 tons. It’s an important project for the Oroville community. Our precast concrete vault will help ensure their fire engines are pump tested and ready to go when needed. You can’t afford to have them fail when a fire breaks out.

Marshall Hammon, Jensen Precast Orland Inside Sales Representative
