Dr. Jay Ellis is the president and owner of Ellis Physical Therapy in Idaho Falls, Idaho since 1994. Dr. Ellis started his academic journey in physical therapy in 1969 with a General Studies PE and Physical Therapy Emphasis at Brigham Young University (formerly Ricks College). He then continued his education in General Studies with a Physical Therapy emphasis at Brigham Young University (1973), a General Studies with a Physical Therapy emphasis at the University of Utah (1975), a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at University of Puget Sound (1978) and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (T-DPT) at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (2006). Dr. Ellis contributes to Ellis Physical Therapy in many ways. He evaluates and establishes an appropriate Plan of Care for physical therapy patients and acts as the clinical coordinator of student interns. He also plans and develops new and successful clinical education programs.

alignment, the nerve can be compressed which leads to the quite common low back and sciatic nerve pains. The sciatic nerve is the longest and largest nerve in your body. It even reaches down to the foot and therefore, can be irritated anywhere along its path. With sciatica, the consequent ache can be felt anywhere from the base of the spine, the buttocks or the back of the thigh and legs. Even tingling sensations in the toes can be attributed at times to the impingement of the sciatic nerve.

Relieve Back Pain In Minutes Try this movement if you are experiencing back pain.

SINGLE KNEE TO CHEST Lie on your back and bring one knee to your chest, keeping the other foot flat on the floor. Keep your lower back pressed to the floor. Hold for at least 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 2 to 4 times with each leg. Relieves Low Back www.simpleset.net

• Whole-wheat dough • Extra-virgin olive oil • Garlic, minced • Onion flakes • Parmesan cheese • Oregano • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced • Low-fat or part-skim mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced • Basil DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Knead dough to work out any bubbles. Set in a pan greased lightly with olive oil, and press in minced garlic. Lay down a base layer of onion flakes, Parmesan, and oregano. Top with tomatoes and mozzarella (neither has to cover every square inch. Just make sure there’s enough for a few tastes in every slice).
