malls! Stephanie has that “can do” spirit that often makes an entrepreneur. Stephanie’s mom immigrated to the U.S. as a single parent and raised 6 children, put them through college on her own, and never fails to remind them of the blessings afforded us in this country! Her advice is to dream big, give back and always remember to find life’s blessings! Stephanie’s advice for success is to do your best, keep a positive, humble attitude, be kind and keep growing! “DOA Angels” (you know who you are) helped and encouraged Stephanie, asking nothing in return. That’s the Spirit! It is inspiring to hear of those who reach out to help others. Stephanie enjoys family outings with her 2 kids, trying out new restaurants, and, for exercise, running and volleyball. Hope you have the pleasure of knowing Stephanie Nguyen. What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the industry? I strongly suggest finding a mentor who will help guide your career path, and to be an active participant in your local division order associations. • Any other interesting facts you would like to share about yourself? I was raised in a household full of football playing boys, so now that I am an adult with a house full of girls I find myself constantly adapting. I’m particularly proud of my new found ability to do my daughter’s hair, that is, if she can hold still long enough. She enjoys wrestling with daddy, almost as much she likes her ribbons and bows. Stephanie was born in Saigon, South Vietnam, and still loves visiting faraway places, including Australia and Dubai! Though her favorite place is home in Houston, she has also enjoyed European travel to France, Italy & Greece. Having worked seven years as a DOA, and achieving her CDOA in January, I would not have guessed that she started out in auditing and financial analysis. After working with her through HADOA and seeing her powerful work ethic, I might have guessed that she has that entrepreneur spirit, having run two businesses and helped in building strip

PBADOA has had a very busy quarter filled with monthly luncheons and our annual seminar. The West Texas winds brought Ms. Kacie Bevers from Houston, TX into Midland for our March 15 luncheon. Kacie is an attorney with Steptoe &

Johnson PLLC and her presentation was titled ”A Matter of Trust – What to know when dealing with Trusts in TX”. The
