ROOFING & VENTILATION
Kytun’s practical approach to CPD NEW IN-HOUSE CPD WORKSHOPS COMBINE TECHNICAL LEARNING, HANDS-ON PRODUCT DEMONSTRATIONS AND A GUIDED TOUR OF KYTUN’S DONEGAL MANUFACTURING FACILITY…
Kytun delivers quality roofing and rainwater solutions.
Kytun has launched a new series of in-person CPD workshops designed to give architects and construction professionals a more practical understanding of roofing, ventilation and aluminium rainwater systems. Hosted at Kytun’s head office and manufacturing facility in Kilmacrennan, Letterkenny, Co Donegal, the workshops move beyond the traditional presentation-led format. While each session includes a detailed technical presentation, attendees also have the opportunity to handle the products, examine complete system build-ups and see how many of the components are manufactured. Architects can choose between two dedicated CPD topics: • Dry Fix Roofing and Ventilation Solutions: Provides an overview of modern dry fix systems and the role they play in creating secure, ventilated and weather- resistant roof installations. It covers important specification considerations, product build-ups and practical installation details. • Aluminium Rainwater Systems: Examines the design, manufacture and specification of aluminium gutters, downpipes and associated components. It also highlights the flexibility of aluminium and how standard and bespoke solutions can be used to meet the practical

and aesthetic requirements of a building. Each workshop explores the key considerations involved in product selection, design, specification and installation. The sessions also examine common challenges that can arise between the design stage and the finished installation, helping architects make more informed specification decisions. During the practical section of the workshop, attendees can examine individual products, understand how different components fit together and discuss the details that influence performance on site. This creates a more interactive learning environment in which architects can ask questions and relate the information directly to their own projects.
