En vous inscrivant à peaksaver PLUS, vous rejoindrez le grand nombre de foyers ontariens et ensemble, vous participerez à la gestion de notre consommation électrique. Et en surcroît, vous recevrez un écran d’affichage énergétique gratuit pour suivre et gérer votre consommation électrique. Une fois que vous êtes inscrit à peaksaver PLUS, un technicien viendra à une heure qui vous conviendra installer un dispositif de gestion de charge sur votre climatiseur central, votre chauffe-eau électrique ou votre pompe de piscine creusée. Une fois le dispositif installé sur ces appareils, un ordre télécommandé pourra leur être envoyé, qui réduira légèrement leur consommation en électricité. Le programme ne sera jamais déclenché pendant le week-end ou les jours fériés. Si vous êtes déjà un participant au programme peaksaver, vous devrez vous réinscrire pour participer à peaksaver PLUS. Tous les participants au programme, nouveaux ou autres pourront recevoir l’écran d’affichage énergétique avec lequel ils pourront suivre et gérer leur consommation d’électricité à la maison.
By enrolling in peaksaver PLUS, you will join the many Ontarians who are already working together to manage our electricity use. PLUS, you will receive a FREE in home Energy Display!
Enrolling is easy and free. A technician will come to your home at a convenient time for you and install a small device that makes slight adjustments to reduce your appliances electricity demand. Appliances such as your central air conditioner or electric water heater will be remotely activated during weekdays between 12 noon and 7 p.m and will only last for a maximum of four hours. If you previously enrolled in peaksaver®, you must reapply to participate in peaksaver PLUS. For new and continuing participants, signing up for peaksaver PLUS will make you eligible to receive a free Energy Display that will help you see and manage your electricity use.
