More than 100 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) on Friday as the prov- ince entered a four-week “shutdown”. The restrictions, which took effect from 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, were not as strict as those between Christmas and early February, but included bans on all indoor and outdoor dining, as well as the use of facilities at gyms and other indoor and outdoor sporting venues. Schools remained open.
