Stewardship in the Life of Women B y H elen K. W allace This book forcefully places before us the fact that stewardship is more than accountability to. God for the use of our money. As the author says in her open ing paragraph: “God has given into our keeping many trusts : strength, personal ity, influence, talents, time, money, prayer and numerous other things. He, the Owner, expects us to administer them for Him. Whether we are faithful or un faithful stewards depends upon the use that we make of these possessions and abilities.” - Miss Wallace as Eifid' Specialist, Stew ardship Committee, Northern Baptist Con vention, gained a knowledge of this sub ject which made her most- capable of treating stewardship as it relates itself to the interests and activities of the ordinary woman. The book should be widely read and of much value to all groups of women who are looking for-, suggestions as to how to profitably spend their time for the Saviour. It is simply a story told in a way to interest boys and girlifjbut contains much religious instruc tion,,' the lessons being mainly taught through the Christian life as it was lived by the girl named Faith: The setting of course is English, and American children may find it a bit diffi cult to grasp in some points, but it will be educational for them to get that view point. We recommend it to parents who are taking an interest in giving their young folks wholesome and helpful, as well as interesting, literature. In addition to the outlines, one will find information as to the name of each book, the writer, the authority, the purpose and the message. At the bot tom of each page, Dr. Sayer has suggest ed studies for children.
