Shortly after that, I received this reply: Hi Dean:
Thanks for your help and concern. I would like to tell you what happened but my lawyer told me not to talk to you guys about this issue anymore without his permission. He will not be back from vacation until next week. Thanks for your assistance in this matter.
I was disappointed to hear that he was relying on his lawyers and not on the possibility that this could have been an easily resolved mistake. (Remember that Totally Fulfilled people are open-minded and are willing to look for alternative solutions and give others the reasonable benefit of the doubt.) Here’s my next response to him via email:
Dear XXXX I am sure this will work out.
I know how frustrating things like this can get—but try not to waste anymore energy on this because it will be resolved. Focus on more exciting things. And if you are an entrepre- neur, as it seems you may be, find a passion whether it is Real Estate or something else and don’t let anything stop you from taking your life and your finances to another level. I mean that from the bottom of my heart!!!!!
