Has signed a contract as the sole supplier of wear parts to help ensure uninterrupted operations and optimized performance at Drax’s pellet plants.
Valmet
Signed a two-year service agreement to ensure optimal mill performance. The objective of the agreement is to secure optimal performance of process control systems and maintain consistent product quality on the mill’s tissue machine TM1. The agreement encompasses comprehensive services for the Valmet DNA Distributed Control System (DCS) and the Valmet IQ Quality Control System (QCS) on TM1. It includes maintenance activities, 24/7 remote and on-site technical support, training for operators and engineers, and ongoing performance monitoring based on key performance indicators. To deliver an OCC system and related equipment for PM3. They will supply fiber processing equipment and technologies used to process OCC and UKP furnish, along with a broke handling system, save-all disk filtration system, reject handling, and an approach flow system. The line will feature Kadant Foundations™ fiber processing advanced technologies and equipment, enabling the mill to produce high-quality stock while reducing fiber and energy consumption. To provide a comprehensive audit of the company’s environmental, safety and operational processes. The Lithuanian facility is part of the Grigeo industrial group and is one of the significant producers of cardboard materials in the Baltic region. Under the agreement, the audit includes diagnostics of operational processes, evaluation of environmental and safety practices and an analysis of management procedures and regulatory compliance. As part of the work, the Lithuanian plant will also be examined from a technical perspective. This includes systems for wastewater treatment and discharge, as well as other technological processes used in production. The study will also identify sources of odour, air emissions and noise. In addition, risk- management procedures will be evaluated. Based on the findings, AFRY will produce recommendations and an action plan outlining operational changes intended to improve environmental protection, safety and management processes. Awarded an order to supply a state-of-the-art lime kiln plant, designed to achieve low energy consumption, low emissions, and excellent availability, thereby ensuring optimised operation costs. The new lime kiln plant will have a capacity of 380t/d of burnt lime.
