To replace an old inefficient gas infrared dryer (more than 30 years old) by a new UniDryer V3 system equipped with the latest generation of high intensity emitters, to improve coat drying. For this project, Ircon-Solaronics offered solutions to reduce drastically the energy costs by: x Installing the UniDryer technology: The convective part of the UniDryer handles the mass transfer by blowing hot air coming from the emitter’s flue gases x Installing efficient emitters: The new Ircon-Solaronics Gem12-Hi emitters are the most efficient high intensity emitters on the market which results in a lower gas consumption x Energy Recovery: the hot air evacuated from the UniDryer system is reused as energy source for another machine component in order to reduce its energy consumption. To upgrade a spooling line for this producer of Carded Thermo Bonded and Air Through Bonded technologies. To deliver a newly developed Fourdrinier paper towel machine for its 60,000tpy annual household paper project. The machine, which features a 3600mm width and an operating speed of 800m/min, can produce over 90tpd of high-quality hand towel and wiping paper base paper. To supply one Internal Resin Injection System and two PressBooster fiber mat pre-heating systems for their MDF production lines. The Internal Resin Injection System and one PressBooster will be installed on their thin board line, while the second PressBooster will be added to their first MDF line. To deliver three press felt cleaners with moisture and permeability measurement. To supply two Valmet Fiberline Analyzers to help the mill improve process stability and product quality. By delivering real Ǧ time data on Kappa number, brightness, and fiber and shives characteristics, it will support the mill in making timely process adjustments. To deliver a particleboard and Super Particleboard (Super PB) plant; with this delivery the company, which is Indonesia’s largest MDF manufacturer, enters the particleboard sector. SPF’s order includes glue preparation and dosing, gluing, forming station and forming line, a CPS+ continuous press system and a raw board handling system. The order also includes the latest MAIER flaking and milling equipment: three new MAIER Knife Ring Flakers type MRZ 1500 PLUS with FlowOptimizer, the fully automatic MAIER Knife Ring Maintenance Center and two MAIER Impact Mills.
