The Summer season is officially in full swing, and the Club is alive with opportunity and a time to grow, connect, and celebrate. From leisurely lunches and elegant dinners to joyful happy hours in between, our summer offerings are infused with fresh, seasonal flavors sure to delight even the most refined palates. Our Member Experience Team has been busy curating an exciting calendar of events designed to inspire and unite. Mark your calendars for Club favorites and traditions like our Pro Skins Golf Tournament, Invited Texas Tennis Showdown, Annual 3rd of July Celebration, and more, all designed to bring Members together in fun and memorable ways. On the culinary front, our Food & Beverage team is embracing summer’s bounty with seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local ingredients. In addition to our weekly dining experiences, don’t miss standout events like the Annual Seafood Boil, Independence BBQ Brunch, and more! Looking to cool off and kick back? HEAD GOLF PRO LETTER

May through August promises an exciting and memorable stretch at Stonebriar Country Club, beginning in May as we kick off the summer season with a variety of Member and Association events. This month also features our 28th Annual Pro Skins Event, where your generous support helps offset costs associated with PGA dues, professional education, NTPGA tournaments, and other annual expenses for our Golf Professional team. The momentum continues into June with a full calendar of premier events, highlighted by the Briar Cup and the hosting of the historic 100th Texas Junior Amateur. This championship will bring together top junior golfers from across the state, offering members a front-row seat to watch future collegiate and professional talent while further reinforcing Stonebriar’s reputation as a premier championship venue. In July, we turn to an anticipated member tradition, the Pro/Lady Tournament, where great golf meets a fun, social atmosphere filled with strong competition, memorable pairings, and exceptional camaraderie. As we enter the peak of summer in August, we encourage all members to prioritize safety while enjoying the course by staying well-hydrated, wearing sun protection, and remaining mindful of the Texas heat to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

As we head into the summer months, our racquet sports program continues to build momentum with a full calendar of events, elevated member experiences, and impactful junior programming. From competitive events and social mixers to our flagship summer camps, this season is designed to bring our members together while continuing to grow the game. Camp Stonebriar returns as a cornerstone of our junior programming, offering a fun and structured environment for players of all ages and skill levels. Blending tennis, pickleball, golf, and swimming, our camps keep the club active all summer while developing the next generation of players and creating lasting memories for our junior members. Our upcoming events calendar is packed with great experiences. May features our Pickleball Pro Am, and Memorial Day Racquet Sports Mixer. In June, we host the Invited Texas Tennis Showdown, a highlight of the summer as we welcome members from clubs across Texas, and our Ladies Tennis Trip to Coto de Caza alongside continued camp sessions. July brings our Independence Day Racquet Sports Mixer, with camp remaining in full swing, and we close out the summer in August with our US Open Opening Day Watch Party.

Get ready for an exciting season of fitness, fun, and community as we roll out a dynamic lineup of wellness and activity programs for all ages and interests! Kicking things off, our popular Run Club returns April 24 through September 11, welcoming both walkers and runners to enjoy our scenic golf courses over a 20-week series. In May, unwind and connect at Yoga & Mom-mosas on May 9, while also taking advantage of our Golf Lab Wednesday sessions, designed to sharpen your golf and mobility skills. As summer heats up, so does the action with Summer Fit Kids launching May 27, Jr. Athlete Classes beginning June 2, and Water Aerobics starting June 6 — perfect for staying active all season long. We’re also planning a fun Country Dance Class in July (details coming soon!), and we’ll wrap up the summer with a festive Labor Day 5K on September 7. There’s truly something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see you out there!
