Air Support Night Vision Goggles and Instrument Panel Up Fitting
Two sets night vision goggles for pilot use and subsequent FAA required retrofit of one helicopter for panel lighting to improve night flying capabilities. Radio for new North Division as it was left off budget plan; currently using a spare for dispatch. Current MDCs purchased in FY12; this is the phased replacement of those units. License Plate Reader system would improve PD’s ability to conduct real-time and histori- cal investigations. Annual addition of terabytes of usable data storage to ensure adequate growth of stor- age needs. The software would centralize and manage video/camera storage from multiple service providers; Avigilon, Milestone, Axon, & Sen- tinel. WiFi in specific areas of downtown for cam- era systems. Key for events downtown providing fast connectivity to cameras.
