KING OF MINES WELCOMES THE DIAMOND TALK AND PARTNERS ON DIAMONDS AND THE DELTA EXPERIENTIAL TOUR
Jwaneng Mine recently welcomed The Diamond Talk and its partners as part of the Diamonds and the Delta Initiative, a flagship experiential programme under the House of Botswana. The initiative showcases Botswana’s world- renowned natural diamond value chain while highlighting the country’s rich environmental and cultural heritage. The programme provides stakeholders with an immersive experience, connecting responsible diamond mining, beneficiation, and marketing with Botswana’s commitment to conservation, community development, and sustainable tourism. By tracing the journey of diamonds from the mine to the market alongside the unique Okavango Delta ecosystem, Diamonds and the Delta reinforce Botswana’s global leadership in ethical diamond production and sustainable natural resource management.
During the visit, Jwaneng Mine Senior Technical Support Services Manager, Mr Segolame Ntwayagae, welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the Mine being selected as a key destination under the House of Botswana initiative. He also commended Ms Renu Choudhary, founder of The Diamond Talk digital platform, for her efforts in promoting Botswana’s natural diamonds internationally. The Diamond Talk, founded in 2018, is a digital platform dedicated to educating, inspiring, and elevating the gem and jewellery industry through value-adding content, insights, and trends. Ms Choudhary led the first group to participate in the Diamonds and the Delta programme, which ran from 26th to 30th January 2026.
