C’est une première qui se veut un segment dumérite agricole franco-ontarien. « On veut amener ce projet dans un style du Temple de la renommée des bâtisseurs, a expliqué Linda Lauzon, coordonnatrice de projet à l’UCFO. At the time he was wearing a dark t-shirt. %e vehicle is described as a compact pickup truck with an unknown marker on it. Police board dissolved Russell Township council has dissolved the Police Advisory Committee based on a recommendation from the committee itself. The committee was set up to provide advice and recommendations on policing issues for the township while it held a fixed contract with the Ontario Provincial Police for policing services. The township no longer has the fixed contract but continues to receive OPP poli- cing coverage and questions on policing needs and issues for the township are done through regu- lar meetings between the mayor and other township officials and the OPP. Elimination of the police advisory committee represents an annual budget savings of about $17,000. – Gregg Chamberlain Strategic plan feedback wanted Residents with ideas on what kind of priorities should be part of Russell Township’s latest strategic management plan will have their chance to comment. Township council approved a recommen- dation from administration to post the draft plan on the municipal website for public comment. A summary of the comments will become part of an update report at the Nov. 2 council session on progress with developing the new strategic management plan. – Gregg Chamberlain
