James Herbert Born and raised in St. Thomas, I am a retired X-ray technologist, husband to Rita, father of six and proud grandfather of 11. I have spent more than 40
years involved in sports as an umpire, referee, coach and player. I currently serve on the boards of KCCC, SWPH, CIP, the Elgin Middlesex Water Board and Valleyview Home. During my first term on Council, I also served on the Police Services Board. If re-elected, my priorities will include creating a task force to help manage economic growth, listening to seniors through town halls, reviewing our Transportation Master Plan, continuing critical infrastructure improvements, renewing the Environmental Committee and supporting emergency responders. I will advocate for reasonable tax rates, a safe downtown and special constables. As the Railway City, we should also work with the Elgin County Rail- way Museum to help get this community institution back on track. Together, we can build on our successes while addressing the challenges ahead. St. Thomas is a progressive community in which to live, work and raise a family. I would appreciate your vote and the opportunity to serve our city for the next four years.
reputation for skill, reliability, and practical expertise. She has worked with the best Canada top campaign ,TV producers and photographer in world Al Gilbert until his death Beyond her career in beauty, Hamill has become an advocate for parental rights and the protection of children. In 2015, she emerged as a key organizer opposing Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne’s controversial new Health and Physical Education curriculum. Many parents, including Hamill, viewed the sex- education components as age-inappropriate, overly graphic, and an overreach that diminished parents’ role as primary educators. Hamill’s advocacy goes farther as she has helped for 30 yrs the homeless . She has been actively assisting with reporting side effects /referrals over C19 injuries . Her efforts highlight how citizens can use social media and public gatherings to challenge policies they believe endanger vulnerable folks in Canada. As both an accomplished makeup artist and a committed advocate, Sandra demonstrates that professional and civic engagement can reinforce one another in defense of family , seniors , disabled and children. She will be your voice when the system fails you.
