Commercial Manager Purpose of the Job

• Working as an integral part of the Estates PMO & Projects team the Commercial Manager will manage and provide strategic cost and commercial assurance, analysing and highlighting conflicting cost, risk and procurement issues on multi-project campus developments at Leeds Beckett. The post holder will work alongside a multitude of stakeholders, cost consultants, project managers, professional consultants and contractors to ratify and solve commercial, contractual and procurement problems and mitigate risk. • Qualified in a relevant commercial management, quantity surveying or finance discipline, you will have proven cost and commercial management experience gained in the construction and property industry. You will be adept at programme management and reporting on projects and programmes from a commercial and risk assurance perspective. Experience of working in a quantity surveying, cost management or commercial management role on schemes in the commercial, healthcare, science and/ or education sectors would be advantageous.
