Sous la direction de la Directrice d’aménagement du territoire et de construction, le planicateur sera responsable du traitement des requêtes de zonage, de plan de lotissements, de plan d’implantation et de subdivisions et d’analyses de planication du développement. Le candidat veillera à ce que la sécurité, la qualité et l’efcacité sont respectées dans le processus de planication et d’assurer le suivi des projets en cours. De plus, le planicateur sera chargé de préparer des rapports de planication, de communications internes et externes liés aux projets ainsi que la préparation de projets de recherche. Le planicateur travaillera avec d’autres disciplines professionnelles et autorités municipales an de fournir des services de haute qualité à nos clients et nos consultants. De plus, le candidat représentera le département d’aménagement du territoire à divers comités liés à l’aménagement du territoire. CONNAISSANCES, COMPÉTENCES ET HABILETÉS PARTICULIÈRES - Un diplôme d’études postsecondaires en urbanisme ou en géographie ou autre domaine connexe. - Doit posséder un minimum de 3 ans d’expérience pertinente. - Membre de l’Institut des planicateurs professionnels de l’Ontario. - Connaissance avancée de la suite Microsoft : Word, PowerPoint, Excel et Outlook. - Connaissance de logiciels de cartographie (AutoCAD et SIG). - Le candidat doit être capable de gérer plusieurs projets simultanément, avoir la capacité de travailler sous pression et établir des priorités. - Doit avoir d’excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles, de communication, de recherche et rédaction de rapports et d’aptitudes interpersonnelles. - Bien travailler dans un environnement d'équipe. - Capable de maintenir des informations condentielles. EXIGENCES LINGUISTIQUES Excellente compréhension du français et de l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit. Under the direction of the Planning Director, the Planner will be responsible in dealing with zoning request, site plan and subdivision inquiries and all relevant planning development analysis. The candidate will ensure that safety, quality and efciency are considered in the planning process and ensure follow up on on-going projects. The Planner will also be tasked with preparing planning reports, internal and external communications related the projects as well as the preparation of research projects. The Planner will work with other professional disciplines and municipal authorities to deliver high quality services to our clients and consultants. The candidate will also represent the Planning Department at various committees on issues related to planning. SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND KNOWLEDGE - A post-secondary education in Planning or Geography or other related eld. - Must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience. - Member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute. - Advanced knowledge of ofce software, including, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. - Knowledge of computer assisted drawing (AutoCAD and GIS) softwares. - The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and be able to set priorities. - Excellent organizational, communication, research and report writing skills and interpersonal skills. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS Excellent prociency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of both French and English.
