&/#3&'r#3*&'4 WOMAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT On May 20, at about 9:30 a.m., a Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer responded to a disturbance at a long-term care facility in Clarence- Rockland. His investigation revealed that an altercation occurred between an employee and an elderly woman, resident of the facility. A 63-year-old Rockland resident, Suze Marie Colin, was charged with assault causing bodily harm. She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal, on Michel Chrétien will retire as director of emergency services for the United Counties of Prescott-Russell. His retire- ment will take place on November 30 this year. Chrétien’s career in emergency services spans four decades since he began as a part-time paramedic for the Rockland Ambulance Service, and includes the past two decades as UCPR director of emergency services.
