Lo- cated on its own island on the Isar Ri- ver, the museum doesn’t offer copied models, but reality: it has an original
U-1 submarine from 1906, parts of the first V-2 rockets, original Wright brot - hers’ aircraft and even an authentic mi- ne shaft that you literally descend to go under the building. There are also daily Faraday cage demonstrations, where staff members sit inside a sp- here while being struck by real light- ning of several hundred thousand volts.
