Assault with a weapon, mischief, threats and breach A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 25 and charged with assault with a weapon, mis- chief, threats and breach of two probation orders for failing to keep the peace, along with breach of recognizance for being out without her surety’s permission. It is alleged that on June 24, during an argu- ment with her 59-year-old grandmother, the youth threatened to knock her teeth out and bury her. The youth threw a juice box at her and then poured the juice box on the hood of her grandmother’s car. Robbery Brodie Thompson, 20, of Akwesasne, was arrested on June 25 and charged with robbery. It is alleged that on May 9 the man attended a local gas bar and demanded money from the clerk while brandishing a knife. The man then fled the scene with a quantity of cash. Threats, assault Luke Doucet, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 25 and charged with assault and threats. It is al- leged that on June 21, while in the area of Walton Street and Guy Street, the man swung at a 24-year-old woman’s face narrowly missing her with his fist and then threatened to smash her face. Impaired operation Jamie Malyon, 31, of Williamstown, was arrested on June 25 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged that on June 25 police attended the area of 100 Cumberland in relation to a collision. Once on scene the man was found to have been driving a motor vehicle while under the influ- ence of alcohol. Drug possession and trafficking Blake Atwell, age 38, Gail Atwell, age 60 and Lisa-Marie Rees, age 33, of Cornwall, were arrested on June 27. The Cornwall Community Police Service’s Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at an Eleventh Street address on June 27, 2014. As a result a quantity of cocaine was seized along with other drug paraphernalia and equipment. Blake Atwell was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Breach of Probation, and three counts of Breach of Undertaking. Gail Atwell was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and two counts of Breach of Undertaking. Lisa-Marie Rees was charged with Posses- sion of Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Breach Philip Yade, age 24, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 28. He is bound by a Recognizance Order with the relevant conditions to abstain from alcohol and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On June 28 he was observed by patrol officers on Second Street, under the influence of alcohol. Domestic incident A 59 year old Cornwall male was arrested on July 1. It is alleged that between June 28 and 29, 2014, he confronted his estranged girlfriend on Water Street. As she attempted to walk away, he grabbed her by the shoulders, shook her and forced her to sit down. The next day, the male confronted the victim near the Cornwall Square. Responsabilités: • Assumer la responsabilité de surveiller et de tenir à jour, pour le Centre: a) les systèmes de comptabilité b) la préparation des budgets et la rédaction des rapports budgétaires c) les finances • Responsable de tous les systèmes relatifs à la paie, à la gestion des avantages sociaux, au contrôle de l’assiduité, etc. • Fournir les conseils, le soutien et la direction nécessaires au personnel supervisé. • Participer activement au sein de l’équipe de la gérance. • Responsable de l’entretien approprié des bâtiments et du terrain des divers immeubles administrés par le Centre. Exigences: • Diplôme en administration des affaires avec expérience en comptabilité, gestion de la paie et autre gestion financière. • Cinq (5) ans d’expérience en comptabilité, bureautique, paie et autres transactions financières • Minimum de trois (3) années d’expérience dans un poste de gestion ou de supervision • Doit être parfaitement bilingue en français et anglais (parlés et écrits) – épreuve linguistique sera requise. • Connaissance des organismes à but non-lucratif • Doit connaître l’informatique (ex: feuille de calcul électronique, traitement de texte, système de comptabilité et base de données pour ressources humaines).
Conditions: Doit détenir un permis de conduire valide et assurer son propre moyen de transport.
