SPECIAL EVENTS
Magical Starlight Theatre will hold auditions for actors on Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8 from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, located at 305 W. Jackson Avenue on the upper level. Lead and supporting roles are available for all ages, as well as a strong ensemble for all ages. Everyone auditioning needs to only attend one of the two days of auditions; no time slot reservation is required. Auditionees are grouped as they arrive. Once your group has concluded music, read and choreography auditions, you are excused. Youth must be in fourth grade or higher. Call backs are held on Tuesday, October 10 at 6:00 pm. Youth and adults are asked to prepare a specific vocal piece from the show based on the role they are auditioning for. Please refer to magicalstarlight.org for vocal audition materials. An accompanist is provided. There is a cold reading from the script as well as a dance audition; come prepared to move. ALL PERFORMANCES ARE MANDATORY. Eight performances are presented January 12-14 and 19-21 in the Naperville Central High School Auditorium. Friday performances are 7:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 1:30 p.m., and Saturday evening performances are at 6:30 pm. Rehearsals are generally scheduled for Sunday afternoons, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Please bring all conflicts for rehearsals and performances to auditions.

Fall Hayrides SPECIAL EVENTS
Halloween Hayride • AGES 3 AND UP Calling all witches, wizards, ghosts and goblins! Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume (parents included) and join us for a Halloween Hayride. Each registered child ages 3-12 years receives a Halloween goodie bag. You may bring your own food to cook over the bonfire or bring the fixings for s’mores. We provide hot chocolate and apple cider. No alcohol allowed. Please bring your own stick or skewer for roasting. Some picnic tables are provided; you may bring your own chairs and blankets. Please bring flashlights and insect repellent. For rainout information, please visit napervilleparks.org. Children under three may ride for free and do not need to be registered. Each child and adult attending must register. Camp introduces the game of tennis and provides instruction on basic tennis strokes using age-appropriate equipment by emphasizing the ABCs - agility, balance and coordination. Activity is appropriate for beginner to advanced beginner level players. Red Ball players use special mini racquets, tennis balls (provided), a smaller court and lower net height.
