HOPES 2025 Annual Report

ADDICTION MEDICINE DEPARTMENT

A COMPASS FOR RECOVERY

In 2025, Northern Nevada HOPES formally established its Addiction Medicine Department, a dedicated hub for evidence-based care, peer support, and recovery services. This department brings together Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), behavioral health, and wrap-around services under one roof, ensuring patients receive coordinated, compassionate care at every stage of their recovery journey. The department is led by Dr. Taylor Tomlinson, board-certified in addiction medicine and family medicine, and supported by therapists, case managers, and peer recovery specialists. Whether a patient is navigating opioid use disorder, stimulant addiction, or alcohol dependency, our team meets them with dignity and expertise. The department also plays a key role in community education and advocacy, helping reduce stigma and expand access to life-saving care.

“We’re not just treating addiction, we’re treating people. We’re helping them reclaim their lives, rebuild relationships, and rediscover hope.” — Dr. Taylor Tomlinson

“Thank you my greatest team and therapist. They kindly provide me with service. They are very caring, respectful, courteous, and kind.” - HOPES Patient
