In 2025, Northern Nevada HOPES opened the Behavioral Health Access Clinic, a walk-in mental health clinic designed to meet patients with compassion, immediacy, and dignity. Located at our new campus on 4 St., The Jerry Smith Community Wellness Center, this clinic offers same-day access to assessments for therapy, psychiatric care, and peer support, no appointment required. th The clinic was created in response to a critical gap in services for individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges, especially those who are unhoused or uninsured. By eliminating wait times and barriers to entry, HOPES is transforming how behavioral health care is delivered in northern Nevada.
