The research team completed updated Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training, ensuring continued compliance with national research governance strengthened through the addition of an Associate Principal Investigator (API)-trained pharmacist, enhancing the multidisciplinary expertise available to support research delivery. In addition, the Clinical Research Assistant completed phlebotomy training and competency assessment, enabling the delivery of blood sampling, baseline assessments, and other protocol-specific clinical activities within community settings. Collectively, these developments have increased the Hub’s capability to deliver more complex studies safely and effectively in primary care environments. The Research Champions Delivery Group (RCDG) continues to expand, with patient representatives contributing to the development and direction of research delivery across Norfolk and Waveney. Bi-monthly forum meetings, open to all primary care staff across the system, provide opportunities to showcase current and forthcoming research projects and to promote wider engagement. As the Hub moves into 2026/27, it is well positioned to further expand research participation, maximise the use of newly funded infrastructure, strengthen regional partnerships, and continue to establish Norfolk and Waveney as a leading centre for community-based clinical research. 2.25 Primary Care Network (PCN) Support Team A comprehensive suite of corporate support functions underpins the effective delivery, resilience, and governance of Primary Care Network (PCN) services across member practices. This integrated approach encompasses the management of Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) funding and workforce processes, coordinated HR support to ensure safe and compliant recruitment and employment practices, and the use of data analytics to inform decision-making, demand planning, and access to national funding opportunities. Targeted PCN support translates complex national guidance into practical, actionable steps, enabling practices to implement service improvements and meet system priorities. Workforce resilience is further strengthened through access to a flexible staff bank, supporting continuity of care during periods of absence. In addition to supporting delivery of the PCN Contract Directed Enhanced Service (DES), the Team provides a robust governance framework to enable PCNs and their member practices to assure themselves that contractual requirements are being met. Support extends beyond the PCN contract to include the provision of training opportunities at discounted rates, such as Root Cause
