Where possible, the Team also supports practices with operational challenges beyond the scope of the DES. This includes securing cost-effective solutions such as AI-enabled document processing tools to streamline workflows, workforce management systems to support staffing, compliance and rota management, and discounted vaccination programmes, alongside a range of other practical support measures.

During 2025/26, the Team provided direct support to 33 practices across six PCNs in North Norfolk, Norwich, and South Norfolk. Robust quality and governance arrangements ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement, patient feedback, and clinical leadership. Dedicated health and safety provision, including audit support and infection prevention advice, helps maintain safe environments for both patients and staff. In addition, centralised management of third-party contracts reduces risk and administrative burden for practices. Collectively, these functions provide a strong infrastructure to support the delivery of high-quality, safe, and sustainable primary care services. 2.3 Norfolk Primary Care Events 2.31 NPC Members Meeting On 24 February 2026, NPC hosted a collaborative engagement event with colleagues from member practices, providing an opportunity to strengthen partnership working, share emerging developments across networks, and promote open communication in support of continuous quality improvement.
