What is Moody Bible Institute?

Moody Bible Institute is an undergraduate professional school that trains and educates qualified and purposeful young people for specific Christian vocations. It is not a school of general education, or an all-purpose school. . . it specializes. MBI is an excellent choice for a young person seeking preparation for Christian service as well as those who have no immediate vocational goals but are seeking the Lord’s will. The historic curriculum is Bible centered with more hours of Bible offered in the new degree program. On such a foundation the MBI student’s character is strengthened, his mind broadened and God’s w ill clarified.

The Practical Training . . . "It scared me to think of presenting the claims of Christ to strangers but my Chicago as signments taught me how to communi cate the gospel effectively.” — Connie Zeller, Junior, Christian Education Major

The Friendly Counseling . . . “ I must admit I wasn't prepared for college level work, but the sympathetic coun seling of teachers and deans helped me set the right habits and skills I needed." — James Callecod, Senior, Pastoral Training Major

The Spiritual Atmosphere . . . ‘‘At first I wasn’t sure of God's leading regard ing my future area of service, but the prayer bands of Missionary Union ma tured my thinking for foreign missions." — David Bixler, Senior, Foreign Missions Major
