SAFETY WHEN WORKING ON A LIFT IN A WTG

The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to take necessary safety precautions when inspecting, installing, and maintaining lifts in a WTG, in accordance with the manual and directives
After having successfully completed Lesson 3 of the Service Lift Installation, Inspection and Repair Module, the participants can:
19) Solve routine safety tasks and precautions in relation to inspections, installation and maintaining of lifts in a WTG responsibly and will use their initiative to seek help or guidance when needed (Ability, basic level)

Show interest in, and an awareness of:
a.
recognising working areas with restricted space
b. slippery surfaces and need of proper housekeeping in the lift area
c. hazards from moving parts in the WTG (Ability, basic level)
