Learning objectives:
117) The participants can perform a visual inspection of the grounding rotating unit (Skills, intermediate level)
118) The participants can perform a replacement of the grounding rotating unit (Skills, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Demonstrate how to inspect and replace a grounding rotating unit
Facilitate practical training on inspecting and replacing a grounding rotating unit
Provide feedback to the participants on their performance during the practical training
The participants shall:
Engage in practice on the grounding rotating unit, share experiences, and apply the received feedback in following exercises
ELEMENT 12.4 - ROPE ENDS
Learning objectives:
119) The participants can explain how to do a visual inspection of the rope ends are sufficiently coiled up (Knowledge, intermediate level)
120) The participants can recognise if cutting/shortening of rope ends is needed (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Present examples of how to visually inspect coiled up rope ends
Present examples of rope ends, where shortening of rope ends is needed
Lead or facilitate discussion on shortening of rope ends
