After successfully having completed Lesson 10 of the Service Lift Installation, Inspection and Repair Module:
58) The participants will, on their own, take responsibility of inspecting the lift operation panel and repair according to manuals (Ability, intermediate level)
ELEMENT 10.1 - THE LIFT OPERATION PANEL
Learning objective:
59) The participants can take responsibility to carry out a function test on the lift operation panels: emergency stop - reset/ready inside/outside - selector switch - up/down inside/outside, and repair according to the manuals (Ability, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Lead a discussion about different examples of lift operation panels in and outside lifts, as well as at the lift base of the WTG and at the nacelle.
Demonstrate how to perform an inspection and function test of the lift operation panels
Lead or facilitate a discussion about lift operation panels’ functionalities in relation to daily operations as well as in emergency situations, and present examples of what kind of faults in operation panels that require attendance, e.g. faults in the “up-control circuit and a missing phase”
The participants shall:
Engage in discussions about responsibilities in testing and ensuring the functionalities of operation panels, and share experiences on operation panels in lifts
ELEMENT 10.2 - OPERATION HOUR COUNTER
Learning objective:
60) The participants can explain how to do a visual inspection of the operation hour counter at the lift operation panel, and how to replace the operation hour counter (Knowledge, intermediate level)
