ELEMENT 16.2 - STRAIN RELIEF
Learning objective:
94) The participants can perform an inspection, adjustment and replacement of a strain relief at the cabin according to the manuals (Skills, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Present and demonstrate examples of how to do function test and how to adjust and replace a strain relief at the cabin by following the manuals
Facilitate practical training on adjusting and replacing a strain relief at the cabin
Lead or facilitate discussion on safety issues in relation to strain reliefs at the cabin, and differences and similarities between strain reliefs on different lift types
The participants shall:
Engage in the practical training on how to do function test and how to adjust and replace a strain relief at the cabin by following the manuals, or replacing the feed in of a supply cable reflect on the received feedback, and take active part in discussions and share experiences from working with strain reliefs on the cabin
ELEMENT 16.3 - CABLE BIN
Learning objective:
95) The participants can explain how to do an inspection of the cable bin and ensure its function (Knowledge, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Present examples of cable bin conditions
Facilitate an exercise on inspecting, repairing and replacing cable bin connections to the suspension beam
