ELEMENT 5.7 - FAULTS AND DAMAGE
Learning objective:
42) The participants can explain actions to be taken when faults or damage to the lift system are found (Knowledge, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Present examples of faults and damage on lift systems and lead a discussion about what actions must to be taken according to manuals, guidance, and site instructions
Provide feedback on the participants’ engagement and contributions to the discussion
The participants shall:
Engage in the discussions by consulting manuals, guidelines, or site instructions and discuss possible actions in pairs and decide which actions to be taken in relation to the detected faults and damages
Receive feedback constructively
ELEMENT 5.8 - EMPTY TRANSFER
Learning objective:
43) The participants can take initiative to use the control box on the outside of the cabin for empty transfer (Ability, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Present the main principles of using the outside control box for empty transfer of the lift and lead a discussion about empty transfer
Demonstrate the use of the outside control box for empty transfer
Provide feedback on the participants’ professional and personal performance
