The participants shall:
Observe how to use the control box on the outside of the cabin for empty transfer, and engage in discussion
ELEMENT 5.9 - UNSTABLE OBJECTS IN THE LIFT
Learning objectives:
44) The participants can show interest in avoiding carrying unstable objects in the lift (Ability, basic level)
45) The participants can describe the hazards of doing rhythmic or sudden movements in the lift during transfer (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Explain hazards of carrying unstable objects in the lift and show examples of unstable objects in the lift and how they can be a hazard to the lift operation
Facilitate a discussion about carrying unstable objects in the lift and about rhythmic and sudden movements during transfer, and the related hazards and risks
The participants shall:
Engage in the discussion about carrying unstable objects and rhythmic and sudden movements in the lift and share relevant experiences
ELEMENT 5.10 - SAFETY WHEN OPERATING A LIFT
Learning objectives:
46) The participants can take responsibility of operating a lift safely complying with all safety instructions and markings on the machinery (Ability, intermediate level)
47) The participants can explain consequences of external factors that may affect the safety of a lift operation (Knowledge, intermediate level)
