The participants shall:
Engage in discussions and share experiences of how human factors influence accidents in the use of lifts, engage in and reflect on received feedback and take responsibility on their own performance and development during the training
The participants performance (from a human factors perspective) must be part of the feedback whenever feasible during the training

ELEMENT 1.8 - PERSONAL PROTECTIVE AND FALL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE AND PFPE)
Learning objectives:
13) The participants can describe the need for using PPE and PFPE in accordance with standing procedures (Knowledge, basic level)
14) The participants can recognise and describe the use of PPE and PFPE in accordance with standing procedures (Knowledge, basic level)
15) The participants can show interest in, and an awareness of, mitigating exposure to chemical lubrication products and acting responsibly (Ability, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Present relevant PPE and PFPE equipment, including: helmet, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, high visibility clothing, harness and fall-arrest equipment, and explain their purposes
Ask questions on the participants’ knowledge and experience with the relevant PPE and PFPE
Lead a discussion on exposure to chemical lubrication products and mitigating actions
