The ability to take necessary safety precautions when using and working on lifts in a WTG must be practised during all practical training elements in this module when relevant

ELEMENT 3.3 - FORMATIVE POST-EVALUATION
The participants shall:
Conduct a short questionnaire test to recap the theory and safety issues from Lesson 3
Check own answers and solutions from the shown fact list on completion of the test
GATES AND FENCES

The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to inspect and ensure the free movement of the gates and fences in the WTG.
After having successfully completed Lesson 4 of the Service Lift Inspection and Maintenance Module, the participants can:
24) Take responsibility to ensure the free movement of mechanical parts in gates, fences, and hatches outside a lift (Ability, intermediate level)
ELEMENT 4.1 - OUTSIDE THE LIFT
Learning objective:
25) The participants can show interest in the importance of ensuring the free movement of mechanical parts in lift gates and fences (Ability, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Present and demonstrate examples of mechanical parts in lift gates and fences and how to ensure their free movement
Lead or facilitate discussion on possible changes to the free movement of mechanical parts in lift gates and fences
Facilitate a short exercise aiming at free movement of mechanical parts in lift gates and fences
