ELEMENT 4.2 - GATE LOCKING SYSTEMS
Learning objective:
26) The participants can perform a function test and adjustment of a gate locking system: condition, cabling (Skills, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Present examples of different gate locking systems
Lead or facilitate discussion on adjustment of gate locking systems
Facilitate practical training on testing the functioning of gate locking systems
The participants shall:
Practise how to function test and adjust a gate locking system, engage in discussions and share own experiences with lift gate locking systems
ELEMENT 4.3 - GUARD LOCKING CONTROL SYSTEMS
Learning objective:
27) The participants can describe the safety principles of connecting a power cable plug (inlet) to a guard-locking control box socket (outlet) (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Present and demonstrate examples of different guard locking control boxes
Lead a discussion on the safety principles of connecting a power cable power plug/inlet to a guard locking control box socket/outlet
