Inspection (condition and tension)
Provide individual feedback to participants on their performance
The participants shall:
Engage in an exercise where they:
a.
Inspect guide wires and their tags
b. Do a visual inspection of the guide wires according to the manual
c. Examine guide wires at the lowest landing and recognise when these are in flawless condition e.g. diameter, broken threads, wear, and corrosion)
d.
Inspect wire tension
e.
Adjust guide wires tension to the specified value
f. Inspect the condition of the coiled up rope ends of the guide wires visually
g.
Adjust the guide wires at the landings
Apply the received feedback in following exercises
