Practise how to function test operation panels by following the manual
Engage in discussions and share experiences on operation panels in lifts
ELEMENT 10.2 - OPERATION HOUR COUNTER
Learning objective:
64) The participants can explain how to do a visual inspection of the operation hour counter at the lift operation panel (Knowledge, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Present examples of operation hour counters in operation panels in lifts and demonstrate how to perform a function test of the hour counter
Lead or facilitate discussion on the operation hour counter in operation panels
Provide feedback on to the participants on their presentations
The participants shall:
Investigate relevant lift manuals to find out how to perform function test of these, and afterwards share their findings with the rest of the class
ELEMENT 10.3 - EMERGENCY STATE OVERRIDE FUNCTION
Learning objective:
65) The participants can perform an inspection of the emergency override function (Skills, Intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Lead a discussion about how to perform a function test of the emergency override function
Facilitate participants’ practise how to function test the emergency override function
