Responsible Agency : CoFW TPW Reporting Frequency : Annual
A-4: Number of FSI crashes involving speeding (5-year average) Source: The original data is sourced from TxDOT’s CRIS database and supplemented with the crash analysis from the SAP project team. Baseline (2023) : 185 crashes involving speeding Baseline Methodology: The number of FSI crashes involving speeding is a 5-year rolling average calculated based on the 4 years leading up to and including the reporting year. 2050 Target: Zero FSI crashes involving speeding Target Setting Methodology: M1M recommends tracking this value across time with a downward trend target. While contributing factors of crashes are not a part of CoFW SAP’s established performance measures, monitoring the trend of crashes involving speeding still provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of safety improvements and countermeasures.
